A brief insight into our story.
On July 14, 2012, tragedy rocked our world as the news came in that our son, Willy, 18, was mortally wounded in a traffic accident a mile from our home. Numbing disbelief, heartbreak, physical pain, and despair filled our every moment…our every breath. Willy had left his body and this physical world.
We now understand the phrase “there is no word to describe the loss of a child”, because there truly isn’t…
It was our “worst nightmare” coming true.
the questions, the pain, the regret, the guilt, the fear of another tragedy, the despair, and the lack of control….. just a few things going through our minds during these many stages of grief. If it were not for our family, our Church group, many friends of Willy, and our Community, we would never have been able to move in any direction, other than further down into the hole of disconnect. This is where we found ourselves for a long time following this tragedy of life, and we are so very thankful for everyone who assisted us in the climb back up to the point of functioning on a day-by-day basis.
Now, we can humbly offer our services to other grieving familes who find themselves waking up in a tragic nightmare. We offer financial assistance, grief support services, and meals.
How to help
We need all the help we can, no donation is too small. Help us assist grieving families healing from the hardest thing a family should never endure.
